So on Friday morning before we left to go Spokane, I went to go to take a shower and the water NEVER warmed up. It is super fun to take a cold shower in the morning (not)! I was hoping the reason the water never warmed up was that it was just that we were washing so many clothes the night before and washing dishes for the water to get warm – though I knew it most likely wasn’t that.
So when we got back on Sunday night and after we watched the basketball game, Jon went to go take a shower to see if maybe we had warm water – nope. By that time, it was time to go to bed so we would look at the water heater the next day when we got home from work. So the next morning, I took another cold shower. I went to work fearing that we were going to have to get a new water heater and thus, have to live with cold showers for a while, but hoping that all we had to do was push the reset button and everything would be o.k.
After we got home from work on Monday, Jon and I went to go look at the water heater, and after finally finding the reset button, the water heater returned to life and now there is warm water again! YAY! Warm showers are so much nicer than cold showers.
In case you were wondering, it was Heather who found the reset switch. I had spent all morning looking for it.
